My name is Nadid Hossain, I am an 18-year-old American who can speak both English and Bengali, and am currently attending City college in hopes of getting a degree from the school of Grove Engineering. I am still in the middle when it comes to deciding my major, as I still have to choose between computer science and Civil Engineering. Coding has been something that has intrigued me all my life, while computers are something I have always been exposed to, which is why I have been so invested in them. Engineering isn’t something I’m certain about majoring in, but it’s something that has stimulated my curiosity and interest in recent years. I hope to explore many subjects and majors within my area of interest, during my time in college, so that I can figure out what I am truly passionate about and willing to invest years into studying. My plan after college is to gain exposure in the workforce and potentially land a job in either cybersecurity or some sort of Engineering. My other plan was to study coding on the side and invest time into learning a few coding languages, which I could then use to diversify my portfolio in technological interests, and potentially land a job in software engineering.
